Topups & Refunds
When your monthly Honey allowance runs low, you can buy more without upgrading your plan. Top-ups are one-time purchases that add Honey to your wallet immediately, and unlike your monthly allowance, top-up Honey carries forward across billing cycles.
Top-up brackets
Honey top-ups are sold in three fixed brackets. Larger brackets give better value per Honey, so buying a bigger bracket once is more economical than several small ones.
| Bracket | Honey added |
|---|---|
| Small | 10,000 Honey |
| Medium | 21,000 Honey |
| Large | 55,000 Honey |
You can buy a top-up at any time from the billing area in the desktop app. See Topup brackets for the current per-bracket value and how the Swarm draws on top-up Honey.
Top-up Honey carries forward
Top-up Honey behaves differently from your plan allowance. Allowance Honey resets every billing cycle, but top-up Honey is a floor that survives the renewal: it carries forward indefinitely and never expires at reset.
Because of this, the Swarm always spends your monthly allowance first and only dips into top-up Honey once the allowance is exhausted. That ordering means a top-up you buy this month is still there next month if you did not need it.
Consumed Honey is non-refundable. Once the Queen has planned, a Worker has made a model call, or a Drone has run a review, that Honey has paid for real model compute and cannot be returned. Refund requests apply only to Honey that has not yet been spent.
Refund stance
Our refund position is straightforward:
- Consumed Honey — never refundable, because it maps directly to compute already paid out to model providers.
- Unconsumed Honey — refund requests for unspent top-up Honey are handled case by case through support.
For how balances are tracked and how consumption is recorded against your wallet, see Reconciliation.
